Word of the day is really just areminder and it comes from Prov 18:21

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life arein the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thoushalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Matthew 12:37 The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.

Weve got to be very careful and exactabout the things we say we cant be haphazard about the things we say and wemust be mindful about having casual conversations. Jesus tells us that onjudgement day we must give and account for every idle word that we speak.

The words that come out of ourmouth must be positive and full of life. The words we speak are so important because of the power it holds. Genesis is filled for references of what Godspoke into existence.Weve beenspeaking for the last 4 months about shooting straight for the will ofGod.Now that weve spoken it, we mustfollow through. Vow that First lady ministered to us about.

Obviously speaking negativelywill produce negative results but simply avoiding saying negative things isntenough. Its not only about the things wesay but the things we dont say.

If were not speaking positivelife it could be an indication of who we are our heart

Luke 6:45 A good man out of thegood treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil manout of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for ofthe abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Fill our hearths with goodbecause out of the abundance of of the heart, the mouth speak.

Weve got to fill our hearts withpraise, worship, the word, and all that is good so we can have that overflow inus. When we have that overflow of goodand positive thoughts speaking it becomes easy.

Jesus also pointed out that a mans words will eventuallytell what kind of man he is (vv. 43-45). Just as people know the kind oftree by the fruit it bears, so people know from what aperson says whether he is righteous or not. In this case fruit standsfor what is said, not what is done: out of the overflow of his heart hismouth speaks.
